A fantastic, clean and quiet location. The room was comfortably warm ( they have under floor heating). Extremely helpful and friendly people. We accidentally left a cellphone behind and they promptly posted it back to us. If trying to decide, my recommendation is just to book it. These guys are very nice people with a fantastic set-up going on.
This place was a complete surprise for us when we stayed here for two nights recently. The whole contactless way of doing things was new to us but we liked it. When I arrived I tried to get into Room 4, where we were booked into, and I couldn't. I thought I would ring and I noticed I'd received a text saying that they had gotten space and could upgrade us to a room with our own private bathroom for just $10 a night extra. I decided that we would take that over and they must've been confident we would, because it turned out they had left THAT unit open and the key inside. The unit was lovely abd the bed was extremely comfy. The bathroom was light and the under-floor heating was a real nice touch. And the shower ..well, that was out of this world with water pressure to match! The unit was warm enough with the heaters on, but on the bed there was just a top quilt and a furry blanket on the bottom of the bed, so if it had gotten bitterly cold outside Im not sure it would have been enough and couldn't see any more blankets in the unit, but, I'm sure if I had rung the owner one would have been supplied. However, I did send an email the first night about servicing the room the next day and received no email back and nor was the room serviced, but that was only a small gripe. If I am to write everything, the bedside tables could do with being updated, because the rest of the room had really modern and stylish decor, and, the bathroom floor can get very slippery when wet. I slipped on the floor and it was from the water falling from my hair after a shower, I was fine after my feet was dried on the towel, but then when they hit a wet patch from hair drips, over I went and I tore the sticky backing from the towel rail on the way down. I was going to stick it back and bought glue myself when out that day, but when back, I discovered it had been repaired (yet room not serviced?!). That night, I unfortunately knocked the glass in the bathroom off of the side also, breaking it. Feeling rather terrible about that also, I left $15 on the vanity under the broken glass, but I didn't hear anything about them receiving it. I sincerely hope they did. Overall, I want it to be known, that we liked this place, slept so well in the bed and we would definitely stay here again. One thing that was cool, was that if you are going with a larger group or a large family, both rooms and larger section can be hired together and the doors link up, and so do the three units our side, the middle of which we were in, so its a great location for those larger families to stay together but still give space to some of them. I would give this place a look if you are looking for a really comfortable, quiet place with incredible shower pressure.
Came here for one night stay in Dunedin . Everything is great when we arrive and find out everything is contactless means any problem no one will come and help! Room was good , size is good for a couple and parking right outside. It was mid winter and freezing in Dunedin , which was below 0 degree at night. All they provide is a super thin cover ( not even a duvet ) and a thin as blanket. And by the door there is a tiny heater which was not enough to warm up the room. No extra blanket were found , nor electric blanket. Called the host, he said hes not on site , ask me to turn up the heater which i already did but the room still freezing. And he said nothing he can do to help. I was sooo cold, luckily warehouse still open so I can go to buy a blanket for myself for the night , orelse I would not be able to sleep in this freezing winter night. I understand contactless being a Covid thing , but at least someone there to be able to help their customer if in need :(
