Very cool place to visit for contemporary art lovers and just curious people! Bruce works are high valued on international stage while not that well advertised within New Zealand. It’s truly unique style and visitors can spend hours learning about details of his works, he can also tell you a lot about his passion. You might not believe but HE IS super friendly! ???? We will come back again!

Extensive collection of practically everything, especially bones, bones and more bones. I loved it! Informative text gave the background story to many items. Fantastic imaginative artworks by the owner are the icing on the cake.

I will definitely be recommending this to anyone and everyone, love collection of bones, dried/taxidermy specimens, local history, oddities and artwork, such an eclectic mix and it would take multiple trips to take it all in

This place to me is the most stunning museum in New Zealand! I'm sure I'll never forget that experience stepping into that house music. There are heaps of rare animal's bone collections and astonishing bone arts compact in this small house museum. Bruce Mahalski, the owner the museum and the bone artist is very welcoming and passionate about bone art. It is even more impressive to talk to him about his art works. I'd highly recommend to visit this place if you are in Dunedin!

This museum is definitely worth a visit. Everyone in our group from 4 years to 70 found it completely engrossing. So intriguing and Bruce was an outstanding host. Thanks so much
